After climbing from the Mt Cheeseman Snowline Lodge (1550m) to the Mt Cockayne summit (1874m) we were surprised by a glider swooping down upon us!
The glider pilot passed us a number of times providing a few hair-raising moments. I feel very lucky to have witnessed this first-hand, and to have survived it.
Just one of the many great things that happened at Rails Camp NZ 2012. What a location!
