When I got control he had me do turns left and right, small ones and steep turns. Also worked on speed control, I found this part kinda tough. As we started towards the landing pattern he took control back to enter the downwind leg and call on the radio "glider entering pattern". I thought now I can relax and enjoy, nope "you have control" oh crap. Now that I think about it his reason for taking control is the radio button is on top of the control stick. So he told me when to turn to the base leg and said "when you think we are ready make your turn to final I will control our spoilers". I could feel him add just a little help on the controls once in a while. My landing had one little hop but otherwise pretty good. Oh and before the flight we did a walk around the field and storage sheds and the glider to make sure I knew the controls and parts of the glider.
